About our Sponsors
Every year, several area organizations and individuals step forward to support the Solano Wine & Food Jubilee by agreeing to serve as sponsors. Their generous contributions go a long way toward helping fund the programs of NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement. Leading the way this year at the Presenting Sponsor level ($20,000 or more) is Theatre DeVille in Vacaville. Last year's sponsors included Al and Patt Shaw, Freeman Family & Cosmetic Dentistry, The Nut Tree and Gold’s Gym. Other levels include Patron ($10,000), Major ($5,000), Supporting ($2,500) and Associate ($1,250).
The fundamental nature of business is to bring the people of Vacaville closer together than ever before. The Company’s objective is to become one of the premier developers and operators of performance venues in Northern California. The Company intends to provide a high quality entertainment activity that will appeal to all demographics. Performances will include but not limited to:
Live Music Live Theatre Motivational Speakers Festivals (Arts, music, wine) Special Events (anything that can be done will be done) Science and Educational Theatre (demonstrations of “what’s new” in Science and Academia today)
Gold's Gym - Vacaville CA
Gold's Gym family fitness is located at 201 Main St. in downtown Vacaville and is locally owned and operated. The owners and staff are dedicated to providing the finest fitness experience possible for area residents. As personal health is at the heart of Gold's Gym, it is no surprise that the owners are committed to programs supporting health, fitness and related education in the Vacaville/Fairfield area. Rick Martindale, Gold's Gym owner and managing partner, states, "We believe that the bereavement programs offered by NorthBay Hospice are among the most important that this community has to offer. My parents were beneficiaries of NorthBay Hospice services and I am simply grateful that it was available to them. We are proud to be one of the regular sponsors of this exceptional community resource.”
Vacaville Nissan and Vacaville Buick GMC
Vacaville Buick GMC and Vacaville Nissan, two of three dealerships under the general management of Rami Yanni, are on Orange Drive in Vacaville’s Auto Row, conveniently located off I-80 and Highway 505.
“My business philosophy is very simple and has made all the difference in our success at the three dealerships. Our customers are our greatest assets and it's my mission to see each and every customer leaves happy and smiling.”
Yanni joined the Solano Wine & Food Jubilee’s list of Presenting Sponsors when he stepped forward to donate one of two cars as the top prize in the Jubilee’s Raffle. It is his way to show our community the gratitude he feels for the support the community has shown him, he says. “I love this town, and it has been very good to me. I have wanted to get involved and maybe, in the process, help others the way I’ve been helped. There is a lot that people can to do improve our community, if we all work together. I’m grateful I can help out with the Solano Wine & Food Jubilee.”
Al and Patt Shaw
"We are proud to assist organizations such as NorthBay Hospice & Bereavement in the important work they do," note long-time Jubilee supporters Al and Patt Shaw. In addition to the Shaw’s strong support of the Wine & Food Jubilee and Open That Bottle Night, Al has served for a number of years on the NorthBay Healthcare Foundation Board.
Freeman Family & Cosmetic Dentistry
Dr. Lee Freeman, DDS graduated from University of the Pacific in San Francisco in 1979 and, under the auspices of Freeman Family & Cosmetic Dentistry in Fairfield, has spent more than 30 years helping thousands of people improve their smiles. His dental practice provides comprehensive treatment planning options, preventative hygiene, and uses the most advanced technology for restorative and cosmetic dentistry to achieve optimal dental health for his patients.
Dr. Freeman has been a loyal supporter of the Solano Wine & Food Jubilee for a number of years, but in 2009 chose to elevate his level of support to the Presenting Level, because he feels it's important for those who can, to step forward and assure the Jubilee can continue its fund-raising efforts. "As dentists, we are caregivers for our patients, but what the people associated with NorthBay Hospice do for their patients takes care to a whole other level. I worked with two dental assistants who benefitted significantly from the care of hospice, and so I feel somewhat emotionally connected to hospice because of that. The Jubilee is a good cause, and people enjoy it immensely."
